Accepts donations of the following new and used items in working condition: clothing, bedding/linen, furniture, kitchenware (cookware, dishes, silverware), office furniture, arts/crafts supplies, books/magazines, safety helmets, cleaning products, small appliances, canes/walkers, eyeglasses, wheelchairs, cell phones, computers (All hard drives on the donated computers are wiped clean), office equipment, musical instruments, sports equipment, toys, videos/DVDs/CDs, infant/child car seats, and household, gardening, and work tools. Lends refurbished medical equipment to people who lack the insurance coverage or means to buy new medical equipment. Some of the supplies offered may be wheelchairs, canes, walkers, bathroom equipment, including tub benches, shower chairs, potty chairs, lift chairs. Accepts donated medical equipment from area residents who no longer need them or from organizations who have collected the items. Volunteers help clean and refurbish the devices. After final inspection by a qualified professional, the equipment is lent to people in the community and surrounding areas.

Donations of equipment are always welcome when the patient is finished using them. Call to inform the closet of your incoming gift.

Service organization that provides assistance with purchasing corrective lenses for those with an eligible diagnosis.

The Lions Club accepts donations of old/used glasses. Glasses can be dropped off at Fairfield County 2-1-1's office during business hours.

Loans crutches, wheelchairs, and walkers to those who need them. - Accepts donations and return of mobility items in serviceable condition to be loaned out to other individuals in need.

Note: Power wheelchairs must be no more than 4 years old, battery and chair controls must be in working order.
