Will accept donations of new, unused in the package syringes for the agency's "Syringe Exchange Program" NOTE: may not take certain types/gage of syringe - what is accepted is dependent on what clients are using at the time (clients tend to switch the type of syringe from time to time.)

Accepts donations of new or used items (in good, clean condition) for the needs of shelter residents. Accepts items such as: twin bedding: blankets, comforters, pillows, sheets, pillowcases; linens - bath towels, washcloths; laundry detergent; first aid kits, thermometers; daily planner books; art supplies: coloring books, etc.; and gift cards for various stores. storage of baking needs; Pots and pans; Silverware; and Dish sets. Shelter clients keep these items to help them establish their own self-sufficient households.

The Lions Club accepts donations of old/used glasses. Glasses can be dropped off at Fairfield County 2-1-1's office during business hours.

Anyone living in Pickaway County may borrow medical equipment free of charge. The agency maintains an inventory of wheelchairs, walkers, portable commodes, shower chairs etc. The agency accepts good used or new equipment.

Accepts donations of used Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and AutoCPAP machines (but not BiLevel ASV devices) with approximately 3 years of use and from non-smoking households; and new masks, machine filters, and tubing.

Accepts monetary donations and donations of assistive technology and equipment including wheelchairs and walking aids. Donated items are loaned out to people in need in the community.

Medical equipment donations are welcome, such as wheelchairs and medical beds.

Helps provide free eyeglasses to the needy in Mansfield and Ontario area. Also collects glasses for under-developed countries.

Comprehensive hearing evaluations for infants, children, and adults. Diagnosis of degree and type of hearing loss for people of all ages. Hearing aid services include selection, dispensing, fitting, and repair and cleaning of hearing aids/assistive hearing devices.

Accepts donations of adaptive and/or mobility equipment including rollator style walkers (a walker with a seat and hand breaks), wheelchairs (power and manual), power scooters, roll in shower chairs, bed cane/handle (a grab bar to turn in bed or to aid in standing), speech/communication aids. Note: Power wheelchairs must be no more than 4 years old, battery and chair controls must be in working order.
