Accepts donations of all types of foods, including baby food, formula, frozen food, non-perishable foods, nutritional supplements, perishable food (dairy, meat, produce), and prepared foods. Accepts new and used appliances (large and small), cleaning products, kitchenware (cookware, dishes, silverware), office equipment, office furniture, office supplies, arts and crafts supplies, books/magazines, musical instruments, sports equipment, toys, videos/DVD's/CD's, infant/child car seats, helmets, school supplies (youth), and household tools. Accepts unopened personal care and medical supplies, special event tickets, computers, and camping equipment. All items must be in working order. Donated items are never resold.

Operates a methadone maintenance/opiod agonist medication outpatient drug treatment facility for opiate and other drugs of addiction. Treatment includes case management, crisis intervention, laboratory urinalysis, methadone administration, individual or group counseling, medical evaluations, and a program for pregnant or postpartum addicted women which offers case management services and links to community resources. Provides alcohol and drug assessments as well as referrals to other appropriate programs. The center also offers educational and prevention programs targeted against alcohol abuse/misuse, urban violence, HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases and tuberculosis.
