Health Liaison serves as the link between the Hispanic community and health services. Assistance given to clients in Spanish with appointments and interpretations. The Promotora (community health liaison) teaches basic health education topics in Spanish.

Contracts with Rumpke Waste for trash and recycling pick up for Sheffield Township residents. Offers a public dumpster for use by residents several times a year.

Arranges trash collection and recycling for the Village of Glenwillow. Will pick up dead animals from public roads. Also loans out the village truck for use hauling household rubbish to the landfill (cannot be used to haul household toxins such as: car batteries, tires, etc).

Local government branch that implements county wide solid waste management plans such as drop off and curbside recycling.

Provides a site for the disposal of outdated and unwanted medications.

Provides weekly refuse collection through Republic Services.

Contracts with a private company to provide trash collection and curb side recycling services for residents of the Village of Hunting Valley. Services include back door pick up at the residents property.

Provides maintenance of sewers and pumping stations for the City of Broadview Heights. In case of basement flooding, will send an inspector to the site to determine if blockage or break is in the main sewer line (for example, the storm sewer in the street) or on private property (from the curb to the house). If needed, will inspect the homeowner's line to determine where any blockage may be. When time and available resources allow, may pump water out of the resident's basement. In all cases, will give the property owner advice on what is needed to remedy the problem.

Hosts an annual Electronics Recycle Program in an effort to reduce the volume of electronics going into landfills. - Items accepted for free include electronics and accessories items such as: - Desktop or laptop computers. - Printers. - Cell phones and mobile devices. - Telephones and phone systems. - Modems, routers, and servers. - DVD players, VCRs, and stereos. - Game consoles and radios. - Cables, wires, and power adapters. - Ink and toner cartridges. - Anything that plugs in or uses batteries. - Computer monitors. - Televisions. - Fee for CRT televisions and CRT computer monitors. - Will also have a hard drive shredder on site. NOTE: Event is in partnership with Summit e-Waste Recycling Solutions.
