Provides maintenance of the sewer system for the City of Berea. In case of basement flooding, will send an inspector to the site to determine if blockage or break is in the main sewer line (for example, the storm sewer in the street) or on private property (from the curb to the house). Will snake from the curb to the house to remove blockage if property has a street opening to sewer line. Will not snake line from inside the house.

Professional educators provide community programs and screenings to promote health and wellness. Programs include Women in Touch, Healthier at Home, Resource Mothers, Fatherhood Support, Centering Pregnancy, Hispanic Health, Stepping Out, Prescription Assistance and community health events for men and women. Screenings include blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, osteoporosis, body fat, balance, and carbon monoxide.

Some communities use agency for both storm (street sewer) and sanitary lines (sewer on private property), other communities use agency for just storm lines. Call to report line break or blockage (such as flooded street or basement), and staff will refer caller to correct department.

Operates and maintains the City of Fairborn's (only) underground water distribution pipes, valves, and fire hydrants. Operates the city's underground sanitary sewer system and pump stations. Maintains storm sewer pipes, storm inlets, and open drainage ditches. Operates and maintains the city's water treatment plant and well fields.

Inspects sewer connections for new construction and offers tours for interested groups. Provides maintenance and repairs for the sewer lines of North Royalton. Provides maintenance of all streets and public properties; coordinates services for trash collection, recycling, and large item pick up; and offers periodic leaf pickup and branch chipping for the Village of Bentelyville.

Provides services for low income housing rehabilitation and litter control (recycling center). Also provides revolving small business loans. Also may repair and replace septic systems for income eligible families in certain areas of the county.

Coalition led by the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Members are health professionals, parents, educators, elected officials, merchants, business members, police, administrators, and students who are concerned about alcohol, tobacco, and drug use among school-age children in Trumbull County. ASAP Opiate Task Force meets monthly. Focus are youth education, identifying neighborhoods experiencing high rates of drug related crimes and overdoses, providing community education, and providing education to medical professionals.

Provides water and sewer to the City of Bedford (obtains the water from Cleveland.) Provides discounted service based on income eligibility for those age 65 or older or 100% totally and permanently disabled and own and occupy the home. The Service Department will snake out the sanitary sewer from the house to the street providing a proper cleanout is installed outside the house.

Provides trash collection and recycling services by contract with a private company for the Village of Linndale. Also, each summer a dumpster is obtained for a short time and placed at the Village Hall for disposing of any unwanted items by community residents.
