Enables the safe disposal of unwanted and expired prescription and over the counter medications. Pills should be removed from bottles and placed in baggies. This is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft. *Acceptable items for disposal are: Prescription drugs, Over-the-counter medications , Pet medications, Vitamins , Ointments, creams or lotions , Liquid medications, cough syrups . *Items NOT accepted include: Liquids, injectables and inhalers.

Provides a drop off bin location for unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs. Secure drug collection receptacles have been placed in the main lobbies of Ontario Hospital, Bucyrus Hospital, Galion Hospital, and inside the east entrance of Ontario South Campus, next to the Walk-In Clinic and Pharmacy. Items accepted include prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and veterinary medications. Liquid medications must be sealed in containers. DOES NOT accept needles, inhalers, or hazardous materials.

For persons in the Madison area (portions of Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, Mifflin, and Washington Townships) that need to have water service connected, please call 419-774-5519. They know about all the water service providers in that area. They can refer you to the right one. They will also set-up an account for your sewer at that number. The Richland County Wastewater Treatment plant only bills for the sewer and you have to contact the correct company to set-up an account for your water.
