Helps communities and businesses implement cost-effective and environmentally safe solid waste management practices. Provides information about where to drop off recycling including places (such as scrap metal yards) that pay for recyclable materials (such as aluminum cans). Offers community locations to drop-off standard household materials for recycling. Drop-off locations accept plastics, glass, and metals generally used for food or beverages (i.e. plastic milk jugs, glass pickle jars, steel vegetable cans), bottles, cans and cardboard/paper products. .

Phone for information, M-F: 8:30am-4:30pm. May search for places that accept and/or compensate for recyclables anytime via Web site. Recyclables should be deposited loose in to recyling bins (do not bag them).
