Operates as a regional wastewater treatment agency that transports and treats wastewater in the Greater Cleveland area. Regulates storm and sanitary collection facilities, operates three waste water treatment plants, and maintains major sewer intercepts within the larger sewer system. Monitors the water quality at area beaches and posts the results for the public on the agency website and through signage at beaches. Accepts complaints about illegal dumping into the sewer system and odors coming from the sewers. Responsible for the development and implementation of a regional storm and flood control plan.
