Projects may include but are not limited to: area business development, community revitalization projects, public infrastructure, housing and mixed use developments, and financing for businesses and non-profits to lease new facilities. Does not provide the loan, but assists with securing the loan (often faster, with better rates than traditional sources of financing).

Voluntary association of local governments in Northeast Ohio. Directly responsible for a variety of federal, state, and local planning and project implementation programs in areas such as transportation, water and air quality, land use planning, and local infrastructure projects.

Initiatives include both typical chamber of commerce activities, such as membership and advocacy, and programs that focus on equity and inclusion, real estate and development, technology, talent, and COSE, the organization's small business division.
