Provides a short-term psychiatric/substance use disorder crisis stabilization program. Services can include assessment, medical evaluation, case management, counseling, medications, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), withdrawal management (detox), educational groups, referral and linkage to other community services. Program is designed to keep someone in a crisis from escalating into a possible arrest and possible involvement of the justice system. Staff work with the individual to stabilize the symptoms and connect or reconnect to ongoing care. Detoxification from drugs is offered if needed.

Crisis Residential Treatment | Sun Behavioral Columbus

Provides mental health crisis intervention for a short term stay of 7-10 days with a full time psychiatrist on staff. Provides 3-5 hours of recreational and counseling therapy services per day during the stay. Provides medication management, nursing staff to assess patient needs and licensed social workers for discharge planning for all individuals.

Transitional Living Center (TLC) | Ravenwood Health

Provides a supervised living environment to severely mentally ill people who need supervision and support so that they can gain greater independence. Staff monitors self-administration of medications, supervises meal preparation, and helps residents develop proper personal care and hygiene. Provides training to enhance and further daily living skills development. The Transitional Living Center (TLC) can also provide short term crisis bed services to individuals who need diversion or transition from a psychiatric hospital setting (9 beds). In some cases, the crisis bed has been used to provide temporary shelter to a person with a mental illness who is also homeless. If beds are not available, agency will work with the client to develop a plan to secure housing and will refer to community services as needed (follow-up and help with paperwork are also provided).

Crisis Residential Treatment/stricklin Crisis Stabilization Unit | Frontline Service

Provides a temporary 15-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) for clients who have serious mental illnesses and are experiencing a psychiatric crisis or need medication stabilization but are not admitted to an inpatient facility. The average length of stay is one week, after which the client's case manager or unit social workers will help to link them to any needed services. Admission is voluntary.
