Short-term residential facility providing crisis stabilization for persons experiencing or recovering from a mental health and/or substance use crisis and in need of an intermediate level of care. Clients are admitted when they are stepping down from inpatient psychiatric units or diverted from inpatient psychiatric admission. Focus on stabilizing the current crisis and mobilizing resources so person can be treated in a less restrictive setting.
