Provides a trauma-focused program that serves children, adolescents, and families who have experienced any type of traumatic event including, but not limited to, sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, exposure to violence, or loss of a loved one through illness, tragedy, or placement. Offers staff trained in supportive and evidence-based treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trauma and Grief Component Therapy (TGCT), Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Coping (TFC), and Structural Sensory Interventions for Children, Adolescents, and Parents (SITCAP). Also conducts Trauma and Loss Assessments to evaluate the impact of trauma on an individuals.

Provide end of life care for those suffering from a life limiting terminal illness.

Offers general mental health counseling and for specific issues: sexual trauma counseling related to military service (military sexual assault), post traumatic stress disorder due to combat service, veteran reintegration counseling, couseling for victims of spousal/partner abuse, and bereavement couseling. Counseling may be offered in individual and group settings. Does not deal with legal issues.

Pathways of Hope at Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio offers the following bereavement and grief support services: Camp HOCO - An in-person children’s grief camp, open to children, ages 6-12, who have lost a loved one. During the camp, bereavement counseling professionals use art, music, hikes, and activities to help children understand their emotions. Camp HOCO at Home - Provides greater access to grief support for children experiencing the loss of a loved one, Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio has expanded its children’s grief support services with Camp HOCO at Home, an innovative box version of the in-person camp. The Camp HOCO at Home box comes with instructions for parents and guardians to follow. The box includes information about how children grieve, common emotions, and coping skills that can be helpful, as well as activities for the family to do to explore common issues children experience when grieving. Support Groups - Grief Works is a support group designed to support adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. These support groups are offered at various times throughout the month and provide a safe space for those grieving. Topics include myths about grief, normal grief reactions, secondary losses, factors that influence the grief journey, and self-care. School Support Groups - In partnership with local school districts, Pathways of Hope provides this program to offer education and support to children who have faced a significant loss in their lives in a school setting. Includes counseling around health problems, issues of loss (bereavement, grief) , counseling for issues that arise after the birth of a child, marriage counseling, and general counseling for youth. A mental health counselor addresses emotional aspects of infertility at one location. Not all services are offered at every location.

Provides the following services to anyone in need, regardless of his or her ability to pay: * Medication for pain and symptom management, * Professional nursing visits, * Assistance and instruction to family caregivers, * Personal care and homemaker assistance, * Medical and social services, * Spiritual care from the hospice chaplain, * Dietary guidance from a registered dietitian, * Physical, occupational, speech and music therapies, * Trained volunteers, * Bereavement support, * Short term inpatient care, * On-call professional staff, and a supplemental paid caregiver fund.

Provides veteran support services including individual and family counseling and treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; coordinates support groups for Vietnam and Vietnam era and later veterans and for their significant others; makes referrals for needed professional services. Also offers bereavement counseling.

Also provides Alcohol and Drug Assessment and Treatment Services, which treats youth who have co-occurring mental health disorders with substance abuse.
