Bereavement Counseling | Cornerstone Of Hope

Those ages 5 or older who have experienced the death of a loved one. Youth counseling is for age 5-18; adult counseling is for age 18 or older. Normally will work with parent/guardian/or care giver if grieving child is under 5 years old. No geographic restrictions.
M-Th: 8:00am-8:00pm F: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Phone for an appointment M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Parent or guardian must initiate contact for their children.

Per session minimal payment based on total family income. No one will be turned away if unable to pay (may be asked for verification of income).

Description

Offers individual grief counseling services for children, teens, and adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Counseling for youth includes art therapy. Works closely with parents, guardians, and caregivers to help create a supportive environment that will nurture grieving toddlers. Conduct bereavement groups in schools. Provides EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy for traumatic loss.
