Mental Health Counseling & Therapy Services | Third Street Family Health Services

Offers three types of therapy services: Individual Behavioral Health - Face to face contact with individuals and/or family members by a qualified professional. The objective being to provide intervention as established by the ISP to assist person in resolving personal problems, to gain insight into their emotional problems and/or to maintain their greatest functioning potential. the goal and desired outcome is to improve and/or resort client's level of functioning so that the best possible quality of life can be achieved. Behavioral Health Group - This involves face to face interaction by a qualified professional with two or more non-family members for the objective of skill development, maintaining and/or enhancing a client's functioning level in a group setting as established by the ISP. The goal and desired outcome is to improve and/or restore client's level of functioning so the best possible quality of life can be achieved. Med-Somatic - Face to face therapeutic intervention by a psychiatrist with an individual and/or family in an individual or group setting for evaluation, medication monitoring and stabilization, crisis intervention or treatment. This may also include direct contact with personnel of other relevant agencies to develop coordination of treatment and stay abreast of the client's functioning level. Also includes therapy service provided by a nurse as authorized by a physician with involved therapeutic use of medications and/or prescribed injections. The goal and expected outcome is to improve and/or restore client's level of functioning so the best possible quality of life can be achieved.

Mental Health Services Division | Family Life Counseling

Provides in-home and in-office individual, family, group, and adolescent/youth counseling. Services provided are intake, assessment, case management, counseling (individual, group, and family), referral, and crisis intervention. There are also services designed to meet the treatment needs of dually diagnosed clients - those having both substance abuse and mental health issues. Drug screening is randomly done throughout treatment and self-support meeting attendance is encouraged in conjunction with treatment.

What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.
