Provides confidential counseling with a mental health professional for victims of domestic violence. Offers counseling for children who have witnessed or experienced some type of abuse or violence. Provides family therapy and parent education focused on helping the household to recover from past abuse, violence, or other traumatic events. Seeks also to prevent abuse within families who may be at risk due to a variety of stressors including: large family size, teenage single parenting, financial problems, drug problems, special needs children, etc. Teaches how to deal with child and parent anger issues, to handle conflicts and manage stress, to recognize cues from children and address their needs, to administer reward and punishment, and to build better communication among family members.

Offers independent housing to individuals experiencing the disabling effects of a serious mental or psychological problem. HUD subsidized, 19 efficiency apartments.

Offers a treatment program for adolescents ages 13 to 17 with substance use related issues. Aims to replace alcohol and drug use with positive reinforcements such as spiritual and recreational activities, mentoring programs, and better communication with family members.

Pregnancy tests, ultrasound, testing for two common STDs, medical information and emotional support. Does not perform abortions or provide abortion provider referrals.

Provides a marital counseling program that explores major issues in marriage and helps participants learn successful ways to handle marriage conflict and to develop healthy marital activities.

Provides a psychological evaluation and individualized counseling to children who have suffered psychological trauma as a result of witnessing or experiencing violence (including domestic violence, bullying, sexual assault, incest, etc.).

Our staff can explain all long-term care options, including care in the home, assisted living facilities, and nursing facilities. Staff also provides consultation around difficult caregiving situations and can direct caregivers to support groups and individual counseling. Staff can assist caregivers in getting linked with needed services. - Education and Training: Offers The Caregiver's Toolbox, 8 free workshops on topics related caregiving. Call for information on community workshops currently scheduled. Also available to groups upon request. - Caregiver Respite Services: Short-term services to alleviate caregiver stress are also available. Services can include in-home care, adult day care at a community center, or a short stay in an assisted living or nursing facility. - Supplemental Services: Services to address needs unique to each caregiving situation. May include assistance with medical equipment, home modification, incontinence supplies, and installation of emergency response units.

Offers counseling for all forms of mental health needs. Nurse practicioners, social workers, and counselors provide emotional support, information, and guidance to help people resolve personal or interpersonal difficulties they are experiencing.

Offers a home-based counseling program for teen parents and their families so that they may become better adjusted to their new situation. The program involves concentrated counseling for whole families (sometimes intergenerational).
