Provides emotional support, information, guidance, and referrals for people who have recently lost a child due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) up to age two (2).

The Compassionate Friends is a mutual assistance, self-help organization offering friendship and understanding to families who have experienced the death of a child, sibling, or grandchild. The purpose is to support and aid families in the positive resolution of the grief experienced upon the death of a child and to foster the physical and emotional health of bereaved families. Compassionate Friends does not have any religious affiliation. We use a meeting space at the church for our monthly support group meetings. Meetings are held at Sugarcreek Presbyterian Church on the third Wednesday at 7:00pm of each month. (corner of Bigger Rd. and Wilmington Pike) 1-937-298-3743

Provides emergency shelter, 24 hour crisis hotline, counseling, case management, legal advocacy, support groups, teacher/tutor services, limited transportation, emergency child care, assistance with food and clothing, assistance in obtaining employment and housing, community education and prevention programs on domestic violence.

Provides counseling to deal with a variety of life transition and other general counseling issues. Includes counseling around health problems, issues of loss (bereavement, grief) , counseling for issues that arise after the birth of a child, marriage counseling, and general counseling for youth. A mental health counselor addresses emotional aspects of infertility at one location. Not all services are offered at every location.

This is a post-abortion study that is to help promote healing from an abortion loss. This is lead by a peer counselor and is done either in a group setting or one-on-one.

Provides behavioral health assistance within the school setting, allowing the mental health professionals the opportunity to consult with teachers and other school professionals to help track the client's progress. Counselors also maintain connections with parents and families to help keep the families connected to the child's academic environment. A variety of counseling services are available based on the needs of the client and family.

Provides several 10-26-week support groups that meet to discuss topics such as anger management, domestic violence victims, domestic violence batterers' intervention and parenting education.

Offers grief and mourning education and support for spousal partner loss.

Offers outpatient mental health services for youth and families. Treatment services may include diagnostic assessment, psychological and/or psychiatric evaluation, individual counseling, group counseling, and family therapy.

Outpatient groups address various treatment areas for children 5-17 years old. Incentives are offered for attendance and participation and dinner or snacks are provided in many groups. Groups include Anger Management, AOD (alcohol or drugs), AOD Residential Aftercare, Caregiver / Parent Support, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for Youth & Caregivers, Girls Empowerment Group for Survivors of Trauma for Youth & Caregivers, Lasting Solutions for Everyday Problems (Family Conflict & Problem Solving), LGBTQ, Managing Feelings & Making Friends and Teen Social Skills.

Comprehensive behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral /substance problems; individual, group, family counseling; case management/therapeutic behavioral support; summer intensive outpatient program; psychiatric services; 24-hour crisis intervention; school-based suicide prevention program, early child-parent education, ropes and initiative course, mental health evaluation, in-school consultation, peer support, respite.

Provides adolescent sex offender treatment such as; relapse prevention, structural family interventions, psycho education, behavioral and cognitive skills training.

Provides individual and family counseling to children who have experienced trauma (such as physical or sexual abuse/assault, witness to violence, death or suicide of a loved one, and so forth). Therapists have received training in specific treatment protocol for trauma. The service is time-limited and involves the child and their parent or guardian. Psychiatry and case management may also be made available as needed.

Provides a wide range of mental health counseling.

Provide prescribing and monitoring of psychotropic medications by a Physician Assistant under the supervision of a Physician.

Provides a safe, confidential, nonjudgmental place to talk to someone who can say “me too”.  Often men and women hurt after abortion. It helps to talk to others who have been where you are.

Provides assessments of adults with psychiatric difficulties and prescribes medication if warranted. Monitors the effectiveness of the medications and possible side effects. Meets with family members, attend treatment teams, and work with hospitals to coordinate treatment when indicated.

Offers comprehensive treatment for children, adolescents, and families who have experienced sexual abuse either through victimization or through sexually aggressive/offending behaviors. Provides a diverse array of services for boys and girls, ages 5-18 years, their families and referring agencies.

Offers a consultations for caregivers and concerned family members of older adults. Services can be provided in office, at home or over the phone. Provided education on various health conditions like dementia. Offers information on various community resources that are available. Provides support for families while making decisions for their loved ones.

Offers counseling and psychotherapy services for individuals with mental health issues. Psychotherapy sessions are generally 50 minutes long and usually scheduled once a week.

Provides mental health therapy and counseling services for children and youth. In addition, psychiatric services, including diagnostic testing and medication services, are available to individuals receiving counseling services through Central Clinic.

Tobacco cessation program to help pregnant women quit smoking and stay tobacco free after baby is born. Women who enroll in the program, quit smoking and remain tobacco free after the baby is born receive free diapers for 12 months (voucher to Walmart each month).

Offers counseling for all forms of mental health needs. Nurse practicioners, social workers, and counselors provide emotional support, information, and guidance to help people resolve personal or interpersonal difficulties they are experiencing.
