Also provides counseling for major psychiatric disorders such as: Schizophrenia, Bi Polar Disorder, etc. Psychiatric counseling uses therapeutic techniques to promote positive personality growth and development and to maximize the individual's ability to function as independently as possible. This may include the use of medication in which a psychiatric evaluation is used to determine the need for medication; prescription of an appropriate drug; and periodic follow-up to monitor the effectiveness of the medication.

Provides post abortion counseling.

Prevention program designed to reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well as getting along peacefully with others. Five classroom lessons cover goal setting, decision making, communicating, bonding and managing emotions. Students also participate in a community service project. The program runs from September to June.

Outpatient counseling services for those in need of individual or group therapy. Weekly sessions assist people in addressing/dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, stress, family difficulties and grief issues. TRANSITIONS is an intensive outpatient-partial hospital group therapy program designed to help people learn ways to manage their difficulties.

Assists caregivers in the challenges they face as they care for a loved one. Available help includes online and written resources, support group that meets virtually/by phone weekly, reimbursement for limited and temporary respite care, educational workshops, and speaking events.

Offers a program (called Practical Parenting) that teaches simple and practical ways to help parents deal with children of all ages. Offers another program (called Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Paths) to help parents and guardians support children who have experienced difficulties such as trauma, grief, moving to a new place, divorce, witness of domestic violence, etc. Separate children's activities are offered during sessions.

Provides information and support to caregivers of older adults and adults living with a disability. Offers free workshops to community groups on topics related to caring for others. Offers telephone and in-person consultation for dealing with issues that arise in caring for others. Can provide short term respite care.

Provides trained peer consultants to talk with clients about their options concerning their pregnancy.

Program provides a team of highly trained volunteers for adults, and teen volunteers for teens. Who can listen, assess suicide risk, give support to callers in crisis. The teen hotline provides a peer to peer counseling to adolescents who may be dealing with loneliness, depression, etc.

This agency provides free and confidential services which include free pregnancy testing and pregnancy related information including sexual integrity education.

Offers comprehensive mental health services to children 3-18 years old. Services include assessment, psychiatric evaluation, crisis intervention, medication management, counseling, advocacy and referrals.

Provides a variety of services to help in preventing or dealing with domestic violence issues for families in the Hispanic community. Will provide accompaniment to court appearances for women who are victims as well as accompanying women to police stations when filing domestic violence police reports. Provides immigration-related help when appropriate. Provides individual counseling for women and their children. Provides a support group for Hispanic women with domestic violence issues. Support group provides a meal and child care during the meeting. Will do speaking engagements about the issues and does issue outreach to this community during events.

Offers psychotherapeutic treatment for children whose problems interfere with their development or who are functioning on a level younger than their age. Addresses problems developed while dealing with experiences such a sickness or a death in the family. Works with the child and the child's parents.
