Residents are encouraged to develop and utilize internal and external resources to help stabilize their crisis situation. Clients often find that temporary separation from their natural environment results in stabilization and resolution of the problem. Referrals to Miles House are accepted from area hospitals, community professionals, mental health centers, Netcare crisis sites and the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
