The Inpatient Program at Columbus Springs Dublin is designed to provide intensive, highly-structured treatment for adults, ages 18 and older with psychiatric, addictive, and co-occurring disorders. The Columbus Springs multidisciplinary team works together to address the unique mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, cognitive, and social needs of each patient. During inpatient treatment, patients will learn to manage their mental health or addiction issues through a combination of behavioral and holistic therapies, wellness education, recreational activities and medication. Inpatient Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Therapies Rehabilitation Medication management therapy is a treatment system used to ensure that patients are receiving optimal therapeutic outcomes for the prescription medications that they may be taking. Therapeutic Modalities Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT), Solution-focused therapy, Trauma-focused therapy groups. Holistic Therapies Yoga therapy, art therapy, music therapy, pet therapy, recreation therapy. Provides inpatient hospitalization, outpatient services, day treatment program and residential treatment services for children ages 5-18 years. Provides psychiatric treatment for older adults experiencing complications with memory loss, depression and medical management issues. Services include psychiatric services, medical monitoring, dietary consultations, music and art therapy, and recreational activities.

Provides prescription monitoring of psychiatric medicines. Also offers 13 beds for inpatient, geriatric psychiatry for individuals experiencing any combination of the following symptoms: anxiety, depression, confusion, difficulty with memory/forgetfulness, grief reaction, medication concerns, suicide threats/attempts and alcohol/substance abuse or misuse. Provides health assessment, diagnosis and treatment.

Joint Township District Memorial Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric services. Admissions and referrals are accepted 24 hours a day.Behavioral changes to look for: Severe depression Suicidal or homicidal ideations Social isolation Preoccupation with death or dying Episodes of tearfulness, increased irritability or anger. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Dual Diagnosis for Co-Occurring Disorders Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and all of your symptoms. What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.

Provides a voluntary sixteen-bed unit which provides a structured, short-term residential environment where individuals are monitored and treated for up to 14 days. Facilitates the program with a goal to manage the crisis in the most effective manner, then refer the individual to less restrictive, less costly, outpatient-based services.

Inpatient Drug Detoxification

Provides a 13-bed inpatient unit for youth in psychiatric crisis. Services include comprehensive psychiatric, medical, family and educational assessment and treatment, crisis stabilization and development of a comprehensive aftercare plan. Youth attend school with certified teachers and are provided care and counseling seven days a week.

Provides full emergency room service and inpatient hospital care. Units include heart center, rehabilitation, maternity, general medical and surgical, pediatrics, senior adult behavioral health (geriatric psychiatry), intensive care, coronary care, and geriatric care (acute care for the elderly). Supportive services include social work, nutrition, pharmacy, pastoral care, activity therapy, and physical, occupational, patient advocacy and speech therapy.

Provides a 28 bed, acute, short-term inpatient psychiatric care.

Provides diagnostic and treatment services for children in need of comprehensive psychiatric care in a supervised, 24-hour setting. Services may include an evaluation, psychotropic medication, counseling, and other crisis stablization services.

Provides an inpatient mental health unit. Also provides psychiatric day treatment program, psychiatric disorder counseling and medication monitoring for those taking psychiatric medicines.

The following illnesses are treated: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder. Our program begins with a mental and physical health assessment. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. A treatment plan that addresses individuals needs and symptoms will be developed.
