Offers short term programs for schools and career exploration programs. Also offers "Youth Outdoors" a program of outdoor activities for youth that is jointly offered with the Cleveland MetroParks.

Provides youth development programs that focus on community service, teen leadership and peer teaching that leads to learning opportunities

Provides grazing school, perennial school, and other classes. Also partners with the Ohio Department of Agriculture to provide pesticide applicator testing.

Offers 4-H opportunities for youth. Youth may join local 4-H clubs and participate in over 200 different activities and projects. Summit County 4-H offers programming for schools, community centers, libraries, summer day camps, and afterschool programs.

The Extension Committee handles the entire 4H program for members (ages 9-18) and advisors. Advisors are volunteers, and 4H projects cover a variety of areas including Home Economics, Agriculture, and miscellaneous subjects.

On TheRise is an after-school program for youth between the ages of 10 and 15 who have poor school attendance and may be prone to dropping out of school. In a country setting, this is an opportunity for at-risk youth to care for small farm animals and perform various farm-centered chores. These and other self-care and self-discovery activities are intended to promote responsibility, compassion, work ethic, and positive self-image. The program's ultimate goals are to establish positive life long employability, life and social skills. Meals, snacks and tutoring are also provided.
The 4-H program engages youth age 5 and in Kindergarten through age 18 in hands-on experiential learning experiences. Opportunities include 4-H clubs, project experiences, overnight and day camping, in school and after school programs. Adults may volunteer to work with youth in any of these areas.
