Recreation program activities include golf, tennis, adult and youth athletic leagues including but not limited to soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball.
Youth and adult activities and educational programs include summer camp, nature programs, arts & crafts and much more are on the schedule.
Residents can travel to Urbana (north), Cincinnati (south), and Buck Creek State Park (east), from downtown following the multi-purpose trails. The Trail Walkers program,meets on Thursdays at 10:00, 9:00 am for the summer months, and highlights the multi-purpose trail system to promote fitness, fellowship and fun.
Other activities such as golf, swimming, tennis, and special events take place at the many different parks in the county.
The parks also provide areas for picnics, fishing, ice skating, horseshoes, playgrounds, athletic events and special event concerts and shuffleboard.

Oversees the entire Cascade Locks Historic District which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Department of the Interior in 1992. Provides informative tours for groups all year, even during the off season.

Include facilities for baseball and softball for both youth and adults, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground structures, picnic facilities including shelters and pavilions, sand volleyball courts, a fitness trail and an ice skating rink for winter use.
