For more than 50 years, the Central Ohio Diabetes Association has offered Camp Hamwi, a unique and exceptional summer camp experience for youths with diabetes. Campers learn to take control of their diabetes management while participating in exciting traditional summer camp activities. Diabetes education topics include nutrition and carbohydrate counting, insulin therapy, and blood glucose monitoring. Camp staff include cabin counselors, social workers, nurses, dietitians, and physicians. Many staffers have diabetes themselves, and former campers can seek training to become part of the Camp Hamwi team. While Camp Hamwi serves youths ages 7-17, children as young as 3 can participate in diabetes day camps. CODA’s summer youth camps allow children and families to connect with a community of support, part of a lifelong path to living well while navigating the challenges of diabetes.

Provides the opportunity for youth who have experienced the loss of a loved one to heal through expressing their feelings, participating in fun activities, and sharing with others in a camp setting.

Summer Day Camps are open to youth and teens (ages 5--22) with physical or developmental disabilities and health concerns, as well as those without disabilities. This inclusive experience allows typical siblings to attend camp together and promotes growth in a fun and challenging environment. Summer Day Camps provide a full schedule of activities, lunch and snack, counselors, program leaders, on-site nursing care and a new adventure every day. Examples of program activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, climbing, sports, archery, creeking, nature exploration, arts and crafts, cooking, theater, campfire, dancing and more.

Provides an eight week organized sports, academic and enrichment summer day camp program.

Provides a variety of weeklong summer arts day camps for children and youth.

Provides a variety of full day summer camps featuring sports, arts and crafts, STEM projects and open swim time.

Offers a summer day camp for youth with activities including music, art, creative movement, health and wellness activities, computer skills, life skills, prevention programs, and academic reading. Camp also includes field trips and community service projects.

Provides tutoring and educational support for youth (focuses on reading, math, and science) as well as homework help. Offers enrichment activities that focus on drug resistance, life skills, conflict resolution, as well as field trips. Also offers a Summer day camp with youth activites such as: poetry, to theater, to health and wellness; every week of camp ends with an exposure field trip to organizations across the state.

Provides a wide range of supervised recreational activities for youth. Offers a safe haven, adult role models, and a variety of programs that support the educational, emotional, physical, and social development of youth, without regard to social, racial, ethnic, or religious background.

Offers a variety of week long theater summer camps for children and youth in grades 1 - 12.

Provides a variety of full day summer camps featuring sports, arts and crafts, STEM projects and open swim time.

Provides a variety of weeklong summer arts day camps for children and youth.

Provides various programming to encourage the study of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in youth, through visiting school and youth group programs, and summer day camps. Programs include, but are not limited to, educational simulations of space flight, space-themed art workshops, robotics, aviation design, and portable StarLab planetarium presentations.

Offers a summer camp for children who are blind or are visually impaired.

Provides referrals to preschools as well as recreational, academic, and cultural activities for youth (generally afterschool, summer, and holiday programs). Offers information on summer camps and day camps including camps that accept county vouchers.

Provides a variety of full day summer camps featuring sports, arts and crafts, STEM projects and open swim time.

Offers 2 different week-long Christian summer camps. Both camps are at sites out-of-state.

Offers a weekend event for youth diagnosed with cancer and their families. Provides accommodations, food, crafts, and games.

Overnight camp that provides the following activities: swimming, horse trail rides, arts and crafts, tennis and court games, nature activity, archery, woodshop, dramatics, canoeing and fishing, and sports and field games. Evening activities include campfires, cabin skits, night swims, and the Hidden Hollow Hop on Friday night.

Provides a variety of full day summer camps featuring sports, arts and crafts, STEM projects and open swim time.

Offers before- and after-school programs and summer day camps for school-aged students. Services include individual and group tutoring, computer labs, homework help, and various other enrichment activities. Seeks to help students meet core academic requirements and prevent summer learning loss. Summer camps also involve a variety of fun activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, field trips, etc.

Provides a daily program for youth during school breaks (winter and spring) while parents are working. Program includes supervised activities and recreation. Youth must bring their own lunches.

Troop & Family Camps were designed so that the entire family can spend a fun-filled weekend together strengthening ties and building camaraderie with other military families. Ohio Military Kids will offer four Troop and Family Camps. Each camp offers unique experiences. Troop & Family Camps are coordinated through a joint effort with the Ohio National Guard and the USO and are open to all branches of the military.
