Military Kids Camps | State Of Ohio Omk Military Kids

Military Kids camp programs provide positive youth development experiences for youth with parents deployed in military service. Camps offer an opportunity to be with other youth in the same situation, to learn new things, and to have fun in an outdoor setting. Trained Ohio 4-H teen camp counselors, Collegiate 4-H members, and adult staff from Ohio 4-H and the military are working together to make these camp programs fun and educational experiences. Camp Neosa | Salvation Army - Summit County

Provides summer residential camps for children who may not normally be given the opportunity for a camping experience. Located on a 200 acre forested peninsula of Leesville Lake in Carroll County, offers facilities including a Fellowship Hall, Chapel in the Trees, a large waterfront and boating area, pioneer village, campfire circle, hiking trails, craft and nature shelters, recreation field, a low ropes course, beach volleyball, and basketball courts. Provides daily Christian education through interactive programs, cabin devotions, and Sunday morning worship. Offers free camp physicals.

Offers a three-day intensive immersion experience for students who have demonstrated achievement in science and an interest in a health professions career. Focus on how a physician talks with a patient, how to study the clues to a patient’s illness and how to solve the case by using critical thinking skills in addition to modern laboratory techniques. Meals and transportation by bus to a Kent State University dormitory for overnight accommodations are provided for the students while at NEOMED.

Children'S Summer Writing Camp | Thurber House
