Provides safe shelter with wrap around services for adults and children who are victims of domestic violence. The YWCA Dayton operates Montgomery County’s only shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Provides information and referral, peer support, advocacy, and independent living skills to persons with disabilities. Provide Braille transcription and lessons. Recreational activities (Game Day, Computer class, ILS and Peer Support Classes, and Consumer Advocacy Team). Linking guidance available for consumers seeking nursing home and youth transition.

Offers low-priced clothing, household items, electronics, books, toys, furniture and collectibles.

Provides low-income families residing in Tuscarawas County with clothing vouchers, food, and toys at Christmas. Recipients will be directed to a local food pantry to receive food boxes. Each family will receive a box of toys pre-selected specially for their family.

Holiday Giving Program provides Christmas gifts to children of families in need in Tipp City and Monroe Township. This program also gives local businesses, organizations and individuals the opportunity to help a family.

Provides a Thanksgiving meal on Friday, November 29, 2024 (day after thanksgiving) which is open to all individuals and families.

Offering breakfast, holiday crafts, and other holiday activities for families with children. Santa will be in attendance and available for photos. Information on various community resources will be available.

Accepts donations of new items including: clothing for infants and young children, personal grooming supplies, computers, office supplies, arts and crafts supplies, books and magazines, school supplies, toys, and tickets to special events. Will also accept new sports equipment, infant and child car seats, bike helmets, non-violent videos and DVDs, as well as CDs for youth. Items must be in working condition. Also accepts holiday gifts for clients. Donated items are never resold.

Provides a drive through Thanksgiving meal. One WEEK before Thanksgiving day on Wednesday. All the trimmings !

Provide summer feeding program; family assistance including food, clothing, referrals; job training for early teens; teen pre-employment/ job training; FAX and copying. After school program provides homework time, reading/math incentive program, crafts, games, Bible study, hot meals, and trips.

A nonprofit organization which serves Hispanics and the community at large in the Mahoning County area. Services include translating/interpreting, health education, blood pressure screenings, tutoring, adult basic literacy education, employment referrals and counseling. Social services and family support include emergency assistance, technical assistance and referrals. Employment services offer job referral, job readiness, and technical assistance. Educational services provide English classes, computer literacy, and financial literacy. Youth programs include after school and summer day camp.

Offers a safe, non-scary Halloween event during the last three weekends of October. Includes many different themed Trick-or-Treat stations.
