The family child care provider may care for seven to twelve children (or four to twelve children if four children are under two years of age). The family child care provider's own children under six years of age must be included in the total count.

This will not prevent determination of eligibility as ACJFS will continue to operate behind the scenes to ensure residents receive critical benefits. Those receiving any type of benefit from the ACJFS are strongly encouraged to contact the agency via phone or internet, versus appearing in person.
