Offers a comprehensive range of services, including career planning, job development counseling, linkage to community services, outreach and direct employment services for individuals with mental illness and barriers to employment.

Links adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with job opportunities and job training programs and services in the community.

Assists students with disabilities who are between the ages of 14 and 24 years old who want to pursue individual interests and independence in the community. Monthly Youth Group meetings provide opportunities to discuss and practice the following topics such as: Pre-employment, Self-advocacy, Independent Living Skills, Socializations skills, Self-Advocacy, and Youth Leadership. Empower YOUth Facebook page and youth discussion groups, and a Disability Mentoring Day activity.

Offers employment counseling and guidance to choose an employment goal based on the client's strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, capabilities and interests. Services include evaluating personal habits, attitudes and skills, increasing work tolerance and learning techniques that compensate for the loss of a bodily or sensory function. Provides placement assistance to follow training including resume development and practice interviews.

CDS offers the following employment support services through I/O and Level One Waivers (county board of developmental disabilities system). Career Planning, Individual Employment Support, Group Employment Support. Employment supports are available in Licking, Knox, Ashland and additional counties.

Helps individuals with either a physical or mental disability achieve employment through training, college, or other means of education.

Provides assistance for adults with developmental disabilities to find a job of their choice in the community. We continue supports through training and follow along with the person and their employer. Richland Newhope Industries, Inc. (RNI, Inc.) specializes in successfully matching the needs of the employer with the skills that the individual requesting services possess. The community employment team not only supports the individuals requesting services, but also the employers in the community. The team offers job shadows and job assessments to individuals who are not yet sure of their vocational interest. This will provide the individual with more knowledge of the job market in order to make a more informed career decision. Work crews in janitorial and lawn service serve local business and residential customers. Industrial Services - RNI, Inc. operates two productions sites with training and employment in light assembly, packaging, fulfillment, wooden pallets, stakes, picture frames, electronic recycling and document imaging for individuals to develop work skills. Social/Integration Services - Activities of daily living, sensory stimulation and socialization are designed to help each individual interact with their environment and the community in a meaningful way. Options for Seniors - Individuals who have chosen to retire enjoy social, leisure and skill based activities. Volunteer opportunities in the community are emphasized. Community Integrated Services - Quality activities are structured around each individual's interests. Self-Advocacy - RNI, Inc. supports self-advocacy efforts, locally and throughout the State. Additional operations include the City Garden Café located in the Mansfield City Building serving breakfast and lunch items and the Element of Art Studio/Gallery located across from the Carrousel, showcasing works of art produced by artists with developmental disabilities. Art works include acrylics, photographs, pottery, glassware and jewelry. We provide wood products, lawn and janitorial services to local residents and businesses.

Job placement, training, and coaching for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or deaf-blind.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are intended to help students with disabilities, as early as age 14, who could benefit from an early start in exploring career interests. The five services include: Job Exploration Counseling; Work-Based Learning; Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities; Workplace Readiness Training; and Instruction in Self-Advocacy. These services are contracted with ILCNCO and are high-level, quick exposure, typically up to 8 hours.

Offers comprehensive employment services including vocational evaluation, career exploration, occupational skills training, job readiness, job finding assistance and soft skills training.

Assigns a Service Navigator that will assist participants with job shadowing, career exploration, skills training, and job development and on-the-job training support. Each participant will have access to peer mentors that have successfully completed the program. Will provide additional supports and services to empower adults with disabilities to complete activities resulting in community employment.

Provides job development, coaching, and follow along services to individuals with ID/DD who are seeking employment or are employed in the community. Door-to-door transportation service is provided.
