14 to 21 years old, who have need for services and an open case with OOD or who are potentially eligible for services and provided guidance through local school district.
Call for information and instructions. Intake packet must be submitted. School staff can complete a Request for Pre-ETS form for a student with a disability who is potentially eligible for vocational rehabilitation (VR) services and has a need. If a student already has an open case with OOD, they should work with the VR Counselor/VR Coordinator to request Pre-ETS.
Office hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Appointments available and necessary during any federally and state mandated regulations. Scheduling intake appointment recommended.

Description

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are intended to help students with disabilities, as early as age 14, who could benefit from an early start in exploring career interests. The five services include: Job Exploration Counseling; Work-Based Learning; Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities; Workplace Readiness Training; and Instruction in Self-Advocacy. These services are contracted with ILCNCO and are high-level, quick exposure, typically up to 8 hours.
