The Health & Human Services program provides information and referral, library materials, book delivery to homebound, hearing tests, support groups, Medicare/Medicaid assistance, blood pressure/sugar checks, tax assistance, health screenings and wellness seminars, and transportation to the center, grocery store, or personal appointments. Call for more information and to make an appointment from the flu shot.

Lace up for Kids - A Back to School Extravaganza provides each child who receives shoes will also receive a brand-new outfit and underwear for school. A health fair will be held during the event featuring free haircuts and more. For Muskingum County students in pre-K - 12th grade.

Blood Glucose Screening is provided by in the clinic during our regular business hours, on a walk-in basis. A 2-4 hour fast is required to perform the blood sugar screening. There is NO CHARGE at this time for this service. Hemoglobin A1c testing is provided at a cost of $20 for all patients. Hemoglobin A1c screening monitors the average blood glucose levels over the last 3 months for those with a diagnosis of diabetes. It is an indicator of overall blood glucose control. Fasting is not necessary. Also will provide glucometers at no cost to Muskingum County residents when available.

Services offered include full use of facility for 8 years and older with exception to Wellness Center, Indoor Track, Whirlpool, and Sauna. These areas are restricted to use by specific groups. Youth 8 years and younger need to be under direct supervision of parent or guardian or registered and participating in a supervised program. Day lockers available, snacks for sale, towels provided, corporate memberships available, scholarships available, babysitting is offered for 2 hours per visit.
