The Health & Human Services program provides information and referral, library materials, book delivery to homebound, hearing tests, support groups, Medicare/Medicaid assistance, blood pressure/sugar checks, tax assistance, health screenings and wellness seminars, and transportation to the center, grocery store, or personal appointments. Offers monthly blood pressure readings for older adults.

Blood Glucose Screening is provided in the clinic during our regular business hours. A 2-4 hour fast is required to perform the blood sugar screening. There is NO CHARGE at this time for this service. Hemoglobin A1c testing is provided at a cost of $20 for all patients. Hemoglobin A1c screening monitors the average blood glucose levels over the last 3 months for those with a diagnosis of diabetes. It is an indicator of overall blood glucose control. Fasting is not necessary. Also will provide glucometers at no cost to Muskingum County residents when available.
