Provide services for developmentally disabled children and adults of Columbiana County. Offers an integrated continuum of education, training and family support services to eligible persons with developmental disabilities, for the entire span of life. Provide after hours emergency services.

Provides Ohio learning standards and school development programs, data, assessment and school improvement services and external coaching services

Provides ongoing primary care, sports and work physicals, childhood immunizations, annual exams for men and women, disease and condition screenings, prenatal care and sick care for adults, children and infants. Dental, Nutrition, Spiritual, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Behavioral Health, Vision and Pharmacy care are available for Primary Care patients. Referrals can be made for specialty care and specialty pharmacy.

Early intervention (EI) is designed to stimulate development early in life to provide children the opportunity to maximize their abilities. Early Intervention serves children from birth to three years of age who have been evaluated and found eligible for services. A Service Coordinator assisst families with linkages to specialized services.

Provides early childhood development programs to children ages birth to five from income eligible (low-income) families. Children attend early childhood centers as well as learn about computers, art, science, music, and more. Home-based services are also available as an alternative to center-based services.

Provides assessment and programs for children with suspected delays; Programs include preschool for special needs and typically-developing children.

Program provides early intervention for children with a delay or disability. children go through the eligibility process for services and are assessed for a need of service if the child meets the requirements.

Provides the point of access to early childhood services (birth-3) including, referrals to ongoing Help Me Grow services such as newborn (up to 6 months) home visiting and early intervention services for infants and toddlers diagnosed with, or at risk of having, a disability or developmental delay. Central Coordination also provides linkage to other family / community support services.

Provide Pack N Play portable cribs and Safe Sleep Survival Kits to families and caregivers that are unable to provide a safe sleep environment due to financial hardship. Survival Kit contains a sheet for the Pack N Play, a sleep sack for the infant, a bedtime storybook and educational materials for the parents. Family must come to the Board of Health office to pick up Pack N Play and receive instruction on proper assembly and use before taking Pack N Play home.

Network of support for people with a wide spectrum of disabilities including but not limited to, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, among others. Provide pediatric therapies for children with disabilities; parent and family support and education; adult day support; transition from high school to work; off and on site employment; residential group homes.

Provides home based early literacy services, assessments, support, resources to pregnant moms, caregivers, parents of children up to the age of 5, with a concentration on ages 0-2. Also provides monthly wellness sessions as well as monthly parenting and information support groups.

Provides intensive intervention through small group and individual instruction to prepare children with Autism for Kindergarten.

Offers periodic Infant-toddler developmental screenings for children age 0-2 who are suspected of having a problem in hearing, language, learning, social-emotional, or motor skills. Screening takes about one hour.

Provides modeling and coaching on behavioral interventions, including classroom, daycare, and home observations; services also include group consultations and classroom observations for Child Care facilities that involve teachers and parents, Dina School, INcredible Years Teacher Training, Challenging Behavior Training, Transition Training, Infant and Toddler Teacher Training

Early Intervention teams, consisting of a Service Coordinator from Bright Beginnings and therapists from the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, work with eligible children and their families to help children achieve their optimal growth and development. Service Coordinators will provide a developmental assessment and then assist with developing an Individualized Family Service Plan, outlining family goals, coordinating the delivery of available services, and coordinating with medical and health providers.

Offers comprehensive diagnostic services and intensive behavioral treatment for children with autism. Service includes developing a individual plan that uses a variety of behavioral techniques to increase appropriate behaviors and to decrease or eliminate interfering behaviors. Parental involvement for children of any age, but particularly for infants and toddlers, is a integral part of the treatment.

Habilitation program serving the needs of older adults with developmental disabilities who no longer desire to work in a workshop setting. Addresses the needs of individuals who cannot work due to pronounced physical needs through occupational, physical, water, and sensory therapies.

Provides interactive educational experiences, physical, occupational and speech/language therapies and specialized instruction.
