Eligibility

Primarily serves Amish within Geauga, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Portage, Trumbull, Summit, Lake, Mahoning, Lorain, Stark, and Medina counties. Will serve non-Amish clients as needed also.

M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm. There is on-call staff for emergencies.

Provides testing for genetic or metabolic disorders, such as Byler's Disease, Cohen Syndrome, Prolidase Deficiency, PKU, etc. Prepares and coordinates a treatment plan for the patient, which can involve multiple agencies and hospitals. Special attention is paid to the Amish community, who account for a larger proportion of the rare genetic and metabolic diseases.
