Juvenile Fire Setters Program is a program sponsored by fire department that is aimed at youths (5-18) who demonstrate a tendency for playing with fire. Program is comprised of representatives from the MVFD, MV City Schools, Knox County Children's Services, and ER staff from Knox Community Hospital (referral required).

Red Cross offers an array of community education including first aid/ CPR, AED, HIV/AIDS facts, Baby sitter training, blood borne pathogens, and sport safety training. May offer free smoke alarms as well as testing existing alarms and providing home fire preparedness training.

The Licking County Health Department is providing free medication and firearm storage devices to Licking County residents and their families.

Provides and installs up to three smoke alarms, safety assessment of the dwelling, and other information concerning fire safety.
