The Play Hard. Don't Blink. program (PHDB) provides qualifying children a free pair of prescription sports goggles. Designed for use by players of ALL sports – including but not limited to: racket sports, girls lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, baseball, and soccer. This program is unique to Ohio and is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health's Save Our Sight Program (SOS).

Qualified law enforcement officers, firefighters, aging-service professionals, and occupational therapy student interns will collaborate to conduct the safety inspections, and provide information and free safety equipment (such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, bathmats, nightlights, flashlights, etc.) for the client to consider that may reduce household hazards, decrease safety risks, and help the client be safe in their home.

Provides infant clothing (up to size 4T), infant formula, baby food, diapers, wipes, cribs, hygiene products for children, cribs, crib mattresses, and new car seats. Also supplies newborn layettes.

Provides fire services to Centerburg Village, Hilliar Township and Milford Township in Southwestern Knox County Ohio and South Bloomfield Township and Sparta Village in Southeastern Morrow County. If you do not have working smoke alarms in your home contact the Risk Reduction Division to assist you in getting working smoke detectors.
