Smoke Alarms | American Red Cross - Richland County Office

Provides up to three new smoke alarms for persons who don't have a working smoke alarm in their home or an alarm that is older than five years old. The smoke alarm is a sealed unit that will last for up to ten years. If a hard of hearing person is in home, red cross will provide one hard of hearing unit.

Call any Red Cross office or can go online at https://www.redcross.org/local/ohio/northeast/about-us/our-work/home-fire-campaign/request-a-smoke-alarm.html Have Operation Save-A-Life applications at the First Call 211 office.

No fees.

Eligibility

Anyone residing in a residential home (other than a multiple unit apartment building) that does not have adequate smoke alarms in their homes or smoke alarms are more than five years old.
