Drive Alive is a program to education and provide awareness to teens about the consequences of deviant behavior behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. This program only operates in the months February, April, June, August, and October.

Has jurisdiction over 15,000 consumer products and accepts complaints regarding the safety of these products. Does not handle complaints about cars, food, drugs, medicine, medical devices and other medical products, child car seats, cosmetics, firearms, and business practices. Alerts the public to product hazards and product recalls (including those relating to lead) and provides safety information. Offers printed safety information on a variety of consumer products and issues.

Provides general crime prevention/safety information and education for the residents of Berea. Offers vacation security checks, neighborhood watch and child safety seat instruction.

Preserves the peace while protecting the lives and property of people in Beavercreek. This includes the enforcement of all laws and ordinances, preventing crimes, investigating criminal activities.

Responsible for the control and extinction of fires in urban or wilderness areas; the inspection of buildings and hillside property to ensure potential fire hazards; and the maintenance of equipment and trained firefighters necessary for a quick and efficient response to fires when they occur.

Provides a two week, two hours each day safety program for children who are eligible to be enrolled in kindergarten in the fall. Has special sessions for mentally handicapped children. Also performs on-site Child Seat Inspections by a trained team of police officers during the program period.
