A Public Preschool classroom will contain approximately 16, mostly typically developing, students per session. Children ages 3 to 5 years of age attend two or four full days per week based on the district calendar in which the classroom is located. To meet your child’s individual needs, the team determines the most appropriate services. Service locations can be in a community preschool/child care center, Head Start program, public/special education preschool program, or at home. Services may be provided through full-day classes, part-day classes, or in itinerant/weekly visits.
