The Hotline is toll-free, all calls to the Hotline are recorded, Caller ID is available and Language services are available. The Hotline receives calls for service from families and law-enforcement agencies calling to report a missing child and seek assistance in their search; people reporting the sighting of a missing child and requesting safety information to better protect their children.

Provides enforcement of all laws and ordinances, preventing crimes, investigating criminal activity, apprehending, arresting, and detaining suspects, presenting evidence, regulating traffic, investigating traffic accidents, and engaging in other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace.

Provides a service for individuals to locate a detainee who is currently in ICE custody or who has been in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s custody for more than 48 hours.

Provides police services for Oakwood Village. Includes community policing, where assigned officers cover the area by motorcycle, maintaining contact with residents and checking for any problems. Provides fingerprinting for employment purposes (onk only). Accepts crime reports. Records information on missing persons, follows up on them weekly, and pursues further if needed. Maintains and provides access to police reports on cases which are not still active or pending in the courts. Upon request, conducts preliminary testing of unknown substances using a field testing kit. Questionable substances will then be further analyzed by the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

Offers case management for families with a missing child. Case managers may assist with managing communication between all involved parties, coordinating specialized resources to help locate the child, navigating reporting and legal processes, connecting families with mental health and peer support, and coordinating access to recovery planning.

Acts as a missing persons clearinghouse for the State of Ohio. Assists in the search of missing persons by accepting reports of sightings of missing persons. Works with other government offices and the media to develop and maintain a plan for issuing missing person reports. Calls to report missing persons should be directed towards local law enforcement agencies. Callers can also contact the Missing Childrens Clearinghouse to report missing children but should first call local law enforcement.

Provides police protection services for the City of Parma. Offers background check (uses your fingerprint in a computer system), assists with filing a missing persons report, maintains police records, and analyzes unknown substances.

Ensures coordination among law enforcement, parents, missing children, groups, and the media to distribute photos and descriptions of missing children. Coordination, information exchange regarding child exploitation is provided. Training for law enforcement, investigation/prosecution assistance for child protective agencies; public education, instruction packages, state legislation advice, etc.

Provides full municipal police service to the City of Brooklyn. Assists in the location of missing persons from Brooklyn. Makes available law enforcement records as needed. Will assist traffic offenders to pay or otherwise deal with tickets. Dispatcher can assist with police records and police reports from current date back two years.

Provides police protection services for the City of Berea. Maintains police files/records, and offers services such as fingerprinting and missing persons assistance. Enforces federal laws through investigating, apprehending violators and participating in arraignment and prosecuting procedures.

Provides personnel to enforce municipal, county, state and federal laws for the Village of Walton Hills. Handles reports of missing persons as needed. Provides police records and police reports in certain circumstances.

Program provides a missing persons locator service in 90 countries around the world. Guidelines for using the service are: the inquirer should be searching for a near relative. They do not search for: old classmates, sweethearts, wartime buddies, friends, neighbors, runaway adult/children, or someone owing money. The inquirer must be able to provide essential information about the missing person. The Salvation Army reserves the right to accept or reject any request for services based on consideration of reasonableness, feasibility, or notice. The inquirer may secure information and/or a missing persons inquiry form by contacting the Salvation Army office.
