Telephone, Internet and other communication lines are often disrupted in times of disaster. Mail inquiries may be sent to: American Red Cross PO Box 4002018 Des Moines, IA 50340-2018 and should include the following information: -The full name, date of birth and passport information (if known) of the persons in the country you are trying to contact. -Their contact information in a foreign country; telephone numbers, email address, hotel name or address (if known) -Your name and contact information, and your relationship to the person (parent, spouse, friend etc.) -Any special or emergency circumstances.
