An unrepresented individual meets with the attorney to discuss the involved legal issues. The attorney then determines the proper forms which need to be filed. The individual is provided with the forms and instructed to obtain all of the needed information to complete the forms such as addresses and dates of birth. The attorney then advises the individual that the forms can be immediately filed if all information is available or the individual can return to the Help Desk the following week to have the forms reviewed before filing.

The Court operates the Juvenile Detention Center, a residential facility, and the Youth Treatment Center for felony youth offenders. A secure holding facility that can house up to 44 youth.

Serves as a thirty-bed juvenile detention facility that is reserved for the temporary detainment of youth who have been charged with committing delinquent acts. Detention is always used as a last resort, and principally for youth who have committed serious offenses and are at risk to themselves or the community. Delinquent youth who are awaiting adjudication and disposition, or awaiting placement, or have violated the terms of their probation or parole, may be held up to 90 days. Federal mandate prevents unruly youth from being held in detention for any longer than 24 hours. Detention will not ordinarily be used for students who are truant or probationers who are suspended from school. Non-felony offenders may be detained, pending a detention hearing, when law enforcement officers identify serious risk to person or property, and the youth is approved by authorized court staff as meeting the admission criteria.

Operates the Greene County Detention Center, which oversees and detains children ages 10 to 17 who have been determined delinquent and unruly by court criteria.

The center is a 24 hour a day , 365 days a year residential facility for incorrigible youth whose freedom the time of incarceration would have jeopardized the safety of other in the community and/or their own safety.

Provides a secure facility that serves adjudicated youth felon offenders from ten participating counties in Northwest Ohio; average length of stay is six months; services include individual, group and family counseling and an accredited academics program.

Provides medium-security facilities for youth felony offenders adjudicated through agency. Youth receive case management, counseling (group and individual, including psychiatric counseling, if needed), referrals to needed services, medical care, opportunities to perform community service, and the opportunity to attend an accredited high school. Provides visiting hours for approved relatives of incarcerated youth. Youth are provided with a pay phone to make collect calls. Calls are logged.

20 bed facility that serves male and females under the age of 19. Provide temporary custody of youth held by the Juvenile Courts, length of stay is determined by the Courts.

Adjudicated juveniles can be court-ordered into this 90 day correctional treatment program.
