Serves as a thirty-bed juvenile detention facility that is reserved for the temporary detainment of youth who have been charged with committing delinquent acts. Delinquent youth who are awaiting adjudication and disposition, or awaiting placement, or have violated the terms of their probation or parole, may be held up to 90 days. Non-felony offenders may be detained, pending a detention hearing, when law enforcement officers identify serious risk to person or property, and the youth is approved by authorized court staff as meeting the admission criteria.
