The center is a 24 hour a day , 365 days a year residential facility for incorrigible youth whose freedom the time of incarceration would have jeopardized the safety of other in the community and/or their own safety.

Provides a secure facility that serves adjudicated youth felon offenders from ten participating counties in Northwest Ohio; average length of stay is six months; services include individual, group and family counseling and an accredited academics program.

Operates the Greene County Detention Center, which oversees and detains children ages 10 to 17 who have been determined delinquent and unruly by court criteria.

The Court operates the Juvenile Detention Center, a residential facility, and the Youth Treatment Center for felony youth offenders. The Court also hears matters regarding abuse, neglect, dependency, parentage, abortion, parental by-pass, and some matters pertaining to child support, custody, and visitation.

Provides visiting hours for approved relatives of incarcerated youth. Youth are provided with a pay phone to make collect calls. Calls are logged.

Running a 48-bed Juvenile Detention facility that is housing juveniles from Coshocton, Knox, Guernsey and Muskingum Counties.

Juvenile Detention facilities that provide educational services including GRADS program, vocational training, recreation, psychological/psychiatric and health care services, substance abuse, sex offender, drug traffickers treatment programs and transitional living skills for detainees. Locations: -Circleville JCF -Cuyahoga Hills JCF -Indian River JCF -Scioto JCF.

Serves as a thirty-bed juvenile detention facility that is reserved for the temporary detainment of youth who have been charged with committing delinquent acts. Detention is always used as a last resort, and principally for youth who have committed serious offenses and are at risk to themselves or the community. Delinquent youth who are awaiting adjudication and disposition, or awaiting placement, or have violated the terms of their probation or parole, may be held up to 90 days. Federal mandate prevents unruly youth from being held in detention for any longer than 24 hours. Detention will not ordinarily be used for students who are truant or probationers who are suspended from school. Non-felony offenders may be detained, pending a detention hearing, when law enforcement officers identify serious risk to person or property, and the youth is approved by authorized court staff as meeting the admission criteria.

Provides a secure, short-term holding facility for youth who are considered to be a threat to public safety.

Provides a 40-bed secure facility for delinquent youths. Juveniles placed in the center have violated the law and are a threat to themselves or others or are at serious risk of running away. Maximum length of stay is 90 days.

Provides detention and residential services for children awaiting court appearance, placements, or commitments to institutions.

Provides for the detention of minors who have been arrested for violating a law or local ordinance pending a court hearing or release.
