Provides medium-security facilities for youth felony offenders adjudicated through agency. Youth receive case management, counseling (group and individual, including psychiatric counseling, if needed), referrals to needed services, medical care, opportunities to perform community service, and the opportunity to attend an accredited high school. Provides visiting hours for approved relatives of incarcerated youth. Youth are provided with a pay phone to make collect calls. Calls are logged.

Provides juvenile corrections for the state of Ohio. Statutorily mandated to confine felony offenders, ages 10-21, who have been adjudicated and committed by one of the state's 88 county juvenile courts. Incarcerated youth engage in programming designed to address their criminological and behavioral needs. Each facility operates a year-round school that offers general curriculum and vocational opportunities.
