FSS Coordinator will help you locate the services you need to become employable: this can include helping you find a college to attend, putting you in touch with a GED program, helping you locate financial assistance, assisting you in completing an application for school, financial aid, employment, etc., helping you locate affordable daycare, assist you in applying for daycare assistance, and many other services.

Offers special interest classes for those who do NOT have vocational training as a goal. Classes include: personal finance, Do-it-yourself classes, gardening and landscaping, first aid/CPR and hobbies and interests.

Provides a variety of personal enrichment classes and recreational activities. Classes and activities offered may include, but are not limited to, computer training, financial management, gardening, starting a small business, arts and crafts, cooking, foreign language, and music instruction.

3 day class to prepare the individual for employment. Includes resume preparation, interviewing skills, confidence building activities, and employability skills. Barriers to employment will be discussed and help will be provided to overcome these barriers. The director will help the individual find employment and will work with the employer and employee throughout the first 1-2 years of employment.

Offers one-on-one assistance with a financial planner to help clients reach their financial goals by discussing debt reduction, credit repair, tax issues, budgeting, saving, and so forth.

Financial Literacy classes are offered to help participants learn how to: - Set and stick to a budget - Pay down debt and build credit - Manage debt to income levels - Build a better credit score - Use credit to your advantage.

Provides a financial literacy program for students in grades 7-12; students simulate the life of an adult who must make financial decisions, manage a family and go to work.
