3 day class to prepare the individual for employment. Includes resume preparation, interviewing skills, confidence building activities, and employability skills. Barriers to employment will be discussed and help will be provided to overcome these barriers. The director will help the individual find employment and will work with the employer and employee throughout the first 1-2 years of employment.

Provides a program designed to empower individuals and families to make positive changes in their lives to increase family stability. Offers cooking and nutrition classes. Offers budgeting workshops to help handle finances and to save money. Agency sponsors field trips to thrift stores and discount stores to help the client build shopping strategies. Various "do-it-yourself" workshops are offered (such as how to make laundry detergent). Goal is to help individuals save money and increase their quality of life even if they have a small income. Parenting skills classes are also offered. Will refer to other community services as needed.

The five (5) main components of the program are: - Education: Many Local BBBs on and around military installations teach financial readiness classes to service members. - Outreach: BBB staff attend and support community fairs, conferences and other events, speaking with service members and distributing information. - Information: BBB website provides a one-stop shop for articles, links and consumer alerts for each branch of service. The website, Facebook page and X/Twitter have a resources page with consumer guides written for military members. Provides the free app, "Military & Money", which features educational resources and tools to help users make informed decisions about money. - Data Collection: Analyzes BBB data to help identify the threats and needs of the military community in the marketplace. - Complaint and Dispute Resolution: Filing a complaint with BBB helps military consumers resolve disputes and alert the BBB to issues affecting the military community at large.

Providing Financial Management Workshops, free tools for money management. One-on-one sessions to work toward financial goals including budgeting, banking, credit, and borrowing. Staff can provide tips on reducing expenses and increasing income.
Provides educational workshops for individuals, families and others that deal with the essentials of money management, asset building, financial independence, homeownership and pre-purchase. The classes address a wide variety of money management issues.
Provides people with diabetes and their family members class activities that consist of three sessions that educate on appropriate food choices. The classes are conducted by a certified diabetes educator. This program also provides financial education to agencies, organizations, individuals and families in basic budgeting, credit and debt management and consumer issues, homebuyer education and counseling. At the end of the training you will receive a 5 year certificate.
