The Making Home Affordable Program (MHA) ® is designed to help homeowners avoid foreclosure, stabilize the country's housing market, and improve the nation's economy. Depending on the situation, homeowners can lower their monthly mortgage payments; If homeownership is no longer affordable or desirable, there is a program that can provide a way out, avoiding foreclosure; There are also options for unemployed homeowners and homeowners who owe more than their homes are worth.

Provides legal advocacy and supports grassroots efforts focused on social justice and racial equity. * Tenant Assistance Project - Assists low-income renters with maintaining their home, improving living conditions, and asserting rights in eviction proceedings. Also provides advocacy around right-to-counsel in eviction cases and sealing of past eviction cases.
