Provides a home weatherization assistance program to help homeowners reduce their electric bills. It is not a rehabilitation or maintenance program. Homes are inspected for health or safety issues related to the heating systems in the home. Diagnostic testing is performed to check for air movement, gas leaks and carbon monoxide leaks. Additional services may include the following: Safety Inspection, tune-up/repair, and if necessary, installation of heating units; Insulation of attics; Insulation of sidewalls; Insulation of heating ducts; Insulation of floors; Insulation of water tanks; Reduction of air leakage from major sources; Personalized Energy Mangement Plans.
Provide Mahoning County residents that qualify with a stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, bedding, and/or a crib. Services beginning April 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022.

Performs emergency and extensive housing rehabilitation services based on need and income eligibility. Housing rehabilitation maximum grant amount is $10,000 per property. Emergency grants may be available when property is considered substandard or where a government agency (health or building department) certified in writing that there is an imminent threat to health and safety. Services include repair or replacement of sidewalks, handicapped accessibility improvements, exterior painting, electric and electrical panel updates, foundation repair and weatherproofing, furnace repair and replacement, vermin and insect removal, plumbing repairs including hot water tank replacement, and connection to sanitary sewers and/or water lines. Contracts with local providers.

Provides assistance with weatherization needs, including insulation, air sealing and high-efficiency furnaces. Homeowners and renters whose income is 150% or less of federal poverty guidelines are eligible. Columbia Gas partners with LEADS to help income eligible customers. WarmChoice reduces gas usage by an average of 28 percent. This can save customers approximately $400 in average savings.
Conducts a home inspection to identify safety and energy efficiency risks. Provides minor repairs or enhancements to homes based on inspection results, such as sealing drafts, adding insulation, repairing windows and doors, installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and repairing or replacing heating equipment and water heaters.
Assists with inspection of air leakage, insulation, hot water tanks, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and furnaces.
Assists eligible low-income Ohioans meet the costs of home heating. The amount of annual HEAP benefits depends on federal funding levels, the number of people in the household and total income, primary fuel used to heat the home and disabilities in household. In most cases, the one-time benefit will be a credit applied to the energy bill by the utility company or fuel vendor. Funds are dispatched once per program year (June-May).

The Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) offers income-qualified homeowners and renters the opportunity to lower residential utility costs by adding weatherization efficiencies. The program helps applicants understand energy audits and provides informational resources to help people make weaterization decisions. Weatherization measures may include: *Safety Inspection, tune-up/repair, and if necessary, installation of heating units *Insulation of attics *Insulation of sidewalls *Insulation of heating ducts *Insulation of water tanks *Reduction of air leakage from major sources *Personalized energy management plans
The goal of the Electric Partnership Program (EPP) is to help eligible families lower their AEP bill. The EPP provides home energy audits and energy efficiency test for refrigerators and freezers. Eligible families may receive energy efficient light bulbs, showerheads, hot water tank insulation, pipe insulation and custom suggestions to help reduce the electric bill. NOTE: Older Refrigerators and freezers may be replaced free of charge if they meet certain requirements.

AEP Cap Program helps eligible AEP customers reduce their utility costs by installing energy efficient measures for their home, apartment, or mobile home. Customer education will also be provided to eligible families.

Eligible customers may receive the following services at no cost: Repair or replacement of furnaces and water heaters; Attic and sidewall insulation; Air sealing; Full home energy inspection; Safety checks on appliances.
Income eligible participant homes inspected and serviced for health, safety and energy saving measures.
