This is a huge step forward, especially for those living in areas with limited access to full-service grocery stores. This new feature follows last month's decision by the US Department of Agriculture to expand the number of states participating in a pilot project testing online ordering. The expansion of the pilot is largely due to precautions around COVID 19. Ohio Job and Family Services applied to add Ohio to the participating states. Only Amazon and Walmart are offering this service at this point although we hope other retailers will join.

Deliver free non-perishable food items to Trumbull County residents age 60 or older or disabled under 60 who are low income and homebound. Grocery deliveries are made twice a month for free.

Provides transportation for older adults to doctors' appointments, drug stores for prescriptions, county-wide agencies for required appointments, as well as for grocery shopping and other essential local travel needs. Staff will also shop for groceries for clients.

Center of Hope is a community service center and food hub. The Bladensburg location houses MidOhio Market, which is a free grocery market and operates as a food distribution hub for mobile programs that operate in rural Ohio. Center of Hope also provides holistic supports for individuals, including chaplain services, health/wellness programming, senior services and more. We also operate a limited number of deliveries to homebound seniors.

In addition to food deliveries, the program will also allow HAPCAP to connect families with other needed services.

Limited delivery also available depending on location.

NNEMAP offers food delivery services to customers who are homebound or unable to safely leave their homes. Delivery appointments are limited and depend on driver availability.
