Provides a resource center as well as special continuing education and professional development workshops/seminars and conferences about topics such as the environment, global security, conflict management, classroom management, and cultural diversity. Maintains a resource library with materials available to the public and teachers. Holdings include materials about active teaching, arms control, conflict resolution, critical thinking, diversity, energy issues, environmental concerns, global security, international relations, military spending, multicultural issues, nuclear power and proliferation, nuclear waste, war and peace, youth violence, and bullying prevention. A program about environmental issues includes use of a large balloon and exercises to develop awareness about the environment.

Registration and support for/to “get out the vote” and anti-discrimination advocacy. These services are offered in partnership with the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Partners with clients to file complaints with the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) in the United States Department of Education.
