Assists agricultural workers with governmental procedures related to immigration laws, recovery of unpaid wages, violations of farm worker protection laws, the application for and denial of public benefits, housing evictions, and a variety of consumer issues. Advocates not only work to resolve a clients immediate problem, but also provide education on the legal process and their rights and obligations. Service is limited by availability of staff and funding. There is no guarantee that a lawyer will be available to take a client's case.

Services offered at Teaching & Mentoring Communities Inc., include Child Development and Health Services, Family Services, Nutrition Services, Transportation services, Referrals for Social Service with other agencies, assistance in Continuing Education, Employment and much more! Service to children with disabilities include: Hearing, Vision, Speech and Language Referrals, Orthopedic Referrals and much more. In addition, TMC works in partnership with Early Intervention programs, local school districts and other community agencies that specialize in services for children with disabilities. Additional services include: Developmentally appropriate curriculum, Individualization, Services for parents, Culture friendly atmosphere, Parent advocacy. Items needed for registration: check stubs for past 12-24 months, copies of previous years income tax with attached W2 Form, proof of benefits such as TANF, Medicaid, unemployment, etc., current record of children's immunization, and proof of migration.
