Coordinates services, links with quality care and financial assistance for medical care and provides identification and referral of children with potentially handicapping conditions. Offers service coordination, advocacy, and public health nurse home visits to assist families in obtaining and coordinating services.

Pairs volunteers with children to provide socialization, life building skills and friendship. Visits take place either weekly or twice a month, depending on the family's interest.

Services may include: Tests and x-rays Therapy evaluations Public health nursing services Visits to CMH-approved doctors Up to five days in the hospital *Treatment Program: services for one year, from CMH-approved providers, for treatment of an eligible condition.
