Provides child case management and support to all children involved in The Shelter services. Offers support groups for children 6-17 about all aspects of domestic violence. Provides public speaking when requested to schools about domestic violence and dating violence.

Seeks also to prevent abuse within families who may be at risk due to a variety of stressors including: large family size, teenage single parenting, financial problems, drug problems, special needs children, etc. Teaches how to deal with child and parent anger issues, to handle conflicts and manage stress, to recognize cues from children and address their needs, to administer reward and punishment, and to build better communication among family members.
