Offers consultations on a number of issues such as spouse education and career opportunities, issues specific to families with a member with special needs, health coaching, financial support and resources. Also offers non-medical counseling services requiring short-term attention, including everyday stressors, deployment and reintegration concerns, parenting, grief and loss, and marital problems as well as assistance with financial management, taxes, career services and health and wellness.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Offers a 6-week peer education program for loved ones of military service members and Veterans who experience symptoms of mental health conditions. Participants will be able to gain practical, up-to-date information about mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression and substance abuse; learn about the latest treatment, options; discover problem solving techniques, coping strategies and communication skills; and find community support in a confidential setting.

Matches children in need of friendship and adult role model with caring volunteers. Offers various mentor programs including Community-Based Programs and School/Site-Based Programs. - Community-Based Programs include Big Couples, Mentoring Children of Prisoners, Mentoring Children of Military Families, and Bigs in Blue. - School/Site-Based Program include Lunch Buddies, High School Bigs, and Sports Buddies programs. - Additional programming includes Pathways to Success - tutoring, mentoring and family engagement programming and Big Futures - workforce and college readiness program for high school students.
