Provides volunteer attorneys that offer legal assistance to personnel of the armed forces who are enlisted in the reserves or National Guard and are currently activated, or are on active duty. Assists enlisted personnel and their families in exercising their rights under the Soldiers' and Sailors Civil Relief Act. Also, will provide legal assistance for wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and durable power of attorney for health care. TAPS Care Groups are operated by TAPS accredited Peer Mentors who have themselves lost loved ones in the line of duty. Also offers a national hotline for those who grieving the death of a military loved one.
