Also provides official State of Ohio Veterans ID card that proves that the veteran has honorable discharge papers filed with the county. Veterans may also use the card for discounts with area businesses.

Provides support groups (TAPS Care Groups) and peer-to-peer support for those who have suffered the loss of someone who is a member of the military or a veteran. TAPS Care Groups are operated by TAPS accredited Peer Mentors who have themselves lost loved ones in the line of duty. Also offers a national hotline for those who grieving the death of a military loved one.

Offers general mental health counseling and for specific issues: sexual trauma counseling related to military service (military sexual assault), post traumatic stress disorder due to combat service, veteran reintegration counseling, couseling for victims of spousal/partner abuse, and bereavement couseling. Counseling may be offered in individual and group settings. Does not deal with legal issues.

Provides volunteer attorneys that offer legal assistance to personnel of the armed forces who are enlisted in the reserves or National Guard and are currently activated, or are on active duty. Assists enlisted personnel and their families in exercising their rights under the Soldiers' and Sailors Civil Relief Act. Also, will provide legal assistance for wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and durable power of attorney for health care. Will not assist with legal matters such as divorce and child custody (does not represent in court).

Contacts deployed military personnel on behalf of families experiencing an event which requires an urgent communication such as a death, illness, or birth of a child. Offers two separate programs: the Program of General Caregiver Support Services (PGCSS) and the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) which provide support and benefits for veterans and their family caregivers. PGCSS program provides peer support mentoring, skills training, coaching, telephone support, online programs, and referrals to available resources to caregivers of Veterans. PCAFC offers enhanced clinical support and services for caregivers of eligible Veterans who have a serious injury (or illness) and require in-person personal care services among other requirements.

Participants will be able to gain practical, up-to-date information about mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression and substance abuse; learn about the latest treatment, options; discover problem solving techniques, coping strategies and communication skills; and find community support in a confidential setting.
