Must attend both classes.

Offers an educational presentation by community health workers regarding health-conscious shopping, smart food choices and cost-saving strategies in the Latino Community. Provides grocery store tours and cooking demonstrations to increase participants knowledge about the availability and affordability of healthy foods. Offers SNAP application and renewal assistance for eligible participants.

Provides outreach and case management services to Latino families in Lake County through bilingual staff. Offers translation and interpretation for social service interventions, medical appointments and other issues.

Provides home visits to those who are homebound or in nursing homes or hospitals.

Offers a Spanish-speaking parenting class. Online options are available. Provides participants an opportunity to earn "Baby Bucks" by attending or participating in classes and prenatal visits. The "Baby Buck" vouchers can be used towards the purchase of diapers, formula and other baby items.

Offers a bilingual after school program for students 5-18 years old. Provides learning opportunities that support and reinforce academic and life skills. Activities include tutoring in reading, math, and science, arts and crafts, folk dancing and computer workshops.

Offers enrichment activities for children of Latino/Hispanic families. Program focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content, as well as cultural activities.

Assists immigrants with obtaining short-term case management, accurate up-to-date information on new laws and procedures, and online green card renewals. Provides additional support services including: - Citizenship classes to prepare eligible immigrants for the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) citizenship exam. - English instruction in preparation for formal English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. - Mobile Mexican consulate visits (for consular services such as passport renewals and consular IDs). - Clinics and special events (immunization fairs, legal clinics, know your rights information). - Coordination of services with Lorain County Free Clinic. - Referrals to American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). - Referrals to constituent services from congressional representatives and government agencies. - Advocacy and educations with Lorain Ohio Immigrants Rights Association (LOIRA).

Work with the Hispanic and Multi-cultural communities and their families through discussion and collaboration to provide information on options and referrals to Behavioral Health professionals, facilities, and organizations specializing in the client's needs.

Offers a program for youth during the summer vacation months. Participants are given the opportunity to explore various activities, take field trips and continue educational development.
