Healthy Asian Youth (HAY) | Asian American Community Services

Healthy Asian Youth (HAY) is an afterschool and summer tutoring and mentoring program for children grades K-12th. Provides educational, ESL and enrichment activities such has SAT/ACT prep, career/college workshops, violence prevention for ages 13-18 and reading, math and computer enrichment for ages 5-12.

Community Adult Mentoring Program (CAM)/Asia Dream School | Asian Services In Action

Provides after-school and summer programs for English Language Learners with homework tutoring; arts and crafts; outdoor activities; ESL classes; and tobacco, drug and alcohol prevention education. Summer program helps participants work on academic issues. Program is designed with culturally relevant references for participants. Program is limited to 80 participants.

Victims Of Crimes Program | Asian Services In Action

Provides legal service for victims of most crimes, including but not limited to victims of: - Theft. - Property crimes such as robbery, burglary, and vandalism. - Elder fraud and abuse. - Hate and bias crimes. - Domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and sex trafficking. Legal services for victims of crime include: - Consultations. - Explanation of victims' rights. - Help filing a police report or talking to police. - Representation of victims throughout a criminal prosecution. - Filing protective orders. - Visas for human trafficking and victims of crime. - Asylum. - Aid in seeking repayment for damages that occurred as a result of a crime.

Minority Men'S Health Center / Minority Mens Health Center | Cleveland Clinic Foundation

Provides screening, education, and treatment for a variety of diseases that affect more men of certain races and ethnicities than their races or ethnicities appear in the population. Typical screenings include prostate cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, sickle cell anemia, and testicular cancer.

Ahimsa | Asian Services In Action

Provides culturally specific and trauma informed services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking with a focus on the immigrant and refugee communities. Advocacy and legal services are available. Advocates may be able to help with crisis and long-term safety planning, counseling referrals, financial planning, support and referrals to shelter, case management, filing for a Civil Protection Order (CPO) and other services. Attorneys are available when applicable to meet with clients to discuss any legal concerns. If qualified, attorneys can help with a divorce, CPO representation, Marsy's Law, immigration, custody, etc. Program approach is assigning one advocate and one attorney to prevent the survivor from having to relive their trauma over and over again by telling multiple people the same story. Program also offers support groups for different ethnic communities and education/outreach to community members, service providers, and others. Service is not for those in immediate emergencies.

Asian Health Initiative Free Clinic | Asian American Community Services

Offers a free clinic that focuses on serving the needs of the Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander community. Volunteer physicians provide diagnosis and treatment services by appointment for illnesses and other medical conditions. Provides basic primary healthcare and referrals. Offers a free hepatitis B screening clinic quarterly. Does not offer physicals.
