Provides recreational classes and activities for those with disabilities. Activities vary by season and include dances, nature hikes, exercise, bowling, and softball. Activities are designed and adapted to meet the needs of participants.

Provides financial assistance to pay for child care while parents work, go to school, or participate in a required work activity through Cuyahoga County Job and Family Services. Provides guidance to help find child care that works best for each family, whether it is traditional care in a licensed facility or care in a certified home setting.

Provides legal assistance to parents who have children with disabilities and who are concerned about a lack of appropriate education or about (threats of) suspension and/or expulsion from elementary, middle, or high school.

Sponsors twelve-step mutual support group meetings within the local community to assist alcoholics and their families and friends in overcoming their drinking problem through mutual support at regular meetings. Offer meetings for specific populations (LGBTQ, Men and Women only groups). Some groups provide proof of attendance at meetings for those who are required by the courts to attend these meetings. Child care may be available for certain groups.

Provides a variety of recreational activities and sports for youth and adults. Youth activities include: soccer, baseball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, track, skiing, etc. Adult activities include: dodgeball, basketball, softball, volleyball, karate, golf, aerobics, yoga, etc. Offers various sports activities throughout the year for participants with disabilities.

Offers assistance with searching for and maintaining employment for those with disabilities. Services include assessments of work skills, job seeking skills, assistance with resume writing and interviewing, computer training, career exploration, job placement assistance, job coaching and assistance with making arrangements for special needs in the workplace. A community-based work experience can be offered in conjunction with this program. Provides information to potential employers on ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and other topics important for hiring persons with disabilities.

Includes benefits such as Medicaid, Medicare Part-D, SSI, SSD, SNAP (food stamps), HEAP, Golden Buckeye Card, Homestead Exemption, prescription assistance programs, housing and others. Will also assist clients in obtaining and completing applications and will provide follow-up.

Provides services for clients to find gainful employment or training. Specific services include: counseling and planning, personal and work adjustment training, vocational training, training supplies and books, financial aid to attend post-secondary classes, artificial limbs, braces, eyeglasses, hearing aids, psychotherapy, physical therapy, wheelchairs (if needed to work), occupational supplies, placement, small business development, and follow-up on the job. Also helps disabled students who are transitioning from school to work or college after high school. Some of the above services are provided by other agencies through a referral process.

Provides a peer mentoring program for individuals living with paralysis, their families and caregivers; individuals meet face-to-face or can communicate via telephone, text or Skype.

Provides a discount program for Ohio's older adults and permanently disabled residents. Participating businesses provide special offers to cardholders, including a percentage off purchases, flat-rate discounts, free or discounted products and services, and more. Businesses participate voluntarily and set the details of their offers.

Member organization for veterans who are paralyzed due to spinal cord injury or disease. Offers human services, adaptive sports, information, referral and advocacy regarding benefits, legal rights, vocational rehabilitation and other related topics.

Offers learning opportunities in technology and creative arts, field trips, and speakers on topics of interest to program participants.

Provides coordinated medical services for infants, children, adolescents and adults with multiple disabilities including mental or motor retardation, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and blindness and/or deafness. Works with the family to help each patient reach his or her maximum habilitation potential, and assists the patient and the family to adapt to long-term needs caused by the disabilities. Provides diagnostic services as well as long-term follow up.
