Offers a mutual support group for new and expectant mothers who are experiencing mental health issues due to childbirth or pregnancy. Provides an environment where participants can share information and compare similar experiences pertaining to perinatal/post partum anxiety or depression. Survivors of perinatal/post partum depression are welcome to participate as well.

Offers counseling services including mental health screening and assessment to pregnant and postpartum women struggling with depression or anxiety as a result of the recent changes in their lives.

Offers support for mothers at risk for postpartum depression. Services include a support group, mental health assessment, counseling, psychiatric care, and referrals to community resources. Transportation and child care can be arranged for appointments.

Provides a group where new mothers can meet and talk about any aspect of being a new parent. Provides support for mental health following the birth of a child. Group is facilitated by a nurse.

Provides services for pregnant and parenting women dealing with postpartum depression and related maternal mood and anxiety disorders, including information, referrals, mentorship and support groups. POEM also started an equity initiative called RISE which focuses on the maternal mental health of Black and African American moms, specifically.

Helps link women to treatment providers to assist with concerns regarding maternal mood disorders including anxiety and depression. NOTE: This is not a direct service or counseling service. Summit County Maternal Depression Network (SCMDN) has agreements with multiple treatment providers that expedite treatment services for women referred through the network.
