Offers monthly support meetings, information and case management by licensed healthcare professionals. Also provides telephone support. Offers educational materials about ALS and how to manage through the progression of the disease. Financial assistance available for those living with ALS who qualify.

Durable Medical Equipment Loan Program | Als Association - The

Provides adaptive and medical equipment for those persons with ALS and in need. Equipment availability is subject to change frequently, but will generally have rollator style walkers (a walker with a seat and hand breaks), wheelchairs (power and manual), and power scooters. Items can be borrowed for as long as an individual may need the item. All items (except for bedside commodes and shower chairs) must be returned when no longer in use.

Healthcare professionals specializing in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) provide assistance and education regarding disease progression, management of care needs, and coordination of services. Regional Care Coordinators are available to help identify the needs of patients and their families. Care Coordinators can offer guidance to find or develop appropriate solutions, support or services. Printed materials, books and videos are available for loan

Meet And Greet Peer Support | Als Association - The

Offers a support group for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), their friends and families. Provides an opportunity to join others who are affected with ALS; to learn from health care professionals, and discuss topics of mutual interest. Meetings are facilitated by a licensed social workers or the director of care services.
