The Extension Committee will work with farmers to: *Assess needs, plan, develop, implement and evaluate a well balanced educational program in agriculture and natural resources. Major efforts in the following subject matter areas: farm management/grain marketing education and agronomic crop education. *Utilize mass media in promoting and conducting educational programming. *Maintain close cooperation with county, district and state extension personnel to develop, teach and evaluate well-balanced educational programs. *Cooperate with other related organizations and groups in the county in assessing and conducting educational programming. *Utilize advisory committees to provide input for program development, planning and evaluation.

Conducts medical and health research at a number of campuses across the country and funds research at outside institutions. Also conducts clinical trials and distributes information about all government funded and private trials that are currently taking place in the United States.
