Provides management assistance in areas such as strategic planning, human resources development, management information systems, finance, marketing, fund raising, executive development, volunteer management and insurance assessment. Also presents a variety of seminars on topics relating to governance and nonprofit management. Offers board member referrals through the Board Matching Program(see "Board Training and Referral" service group).

Offers nonprofit agencies the opportunity to partner with Greater Cleveland Volunteers to receive the services of volunteers. Recruits and refers volunteers to partner agencies. May also provide consultation on best practices in volunteer management, such as how to retain and manage volunteers.
Manages statewide volunteer engagement platform where volunteers can find opportunities to serve (https://serveohio.galaxydigital.com). Provides funding for local service projects on MLK Day, Global Youth Service Day, and Make A Difference Day. Recognizes volunteers via ServeOhio Awards which honors high-impact service in local Ohio communities. Also convenes Ohio volunteer administration professionals in high-quality professional development at our annual Ohio Conference on Service and Volunteerism and through targeted dialogue on improving volunteer infrastructure.

Professional Skills Development Support
Provides information to businesses about volunteerism and volunteer opportunities and arranges placement for employees (as groups or as individuals) in volunteer service projects. Consults with businesses in developing community involvement strategies that benefit businesses, employees and the community. Also offers board referral and training services (see "Board Training and Referral" service group), as well as volunteer consultants, who are able to provide up to 20 hours of volunteer service in areas such as human resources, marketing, technology and finance.
