Offers a board recruitment / training and referral program. Prospective board members (volunteers) are referred to a nonprofit or public agency based on the volunteer's interests and qualifications and agency need. Nonprofit or public leadership and the prospective volunteer interview each other and election to the board occurs if it is an appropriate fit. Prospective board members receive training on the roles and responsibilities of serving on a board. In addition, the Agency offers Board consulting and training services.
Inspires, strengthens, and empowers leaders through a variety of programs that build leadership skills, community awareness, and connectivity.
Offers complementary services for nonprofits that are designed to help strengthen governance and management. Provides management assistance in areas such as strategic planning, human resources development, management information systems, finance, marketing, fund raising, executive development, volunteer management and insurance assessment. Also presents a variety of seminars on topics relating to governance and nonprofit management. Offers board member referrals through the Board Matching Program(see "Board Training and Referral" service group).
