Babysitting Instruction/Curriculum For Adolescents | Safe Sitter

Teaches responsible and safe babysitting techniques to adolescents. Topics include, but not limited to, infant and child care, basic first aid, rescue skills, injury prevention, behavior management, and nurturing techniques. All participants receive a manual and a test is given at the end of the course. Provides instructional materials and training to enable organizations to offer the Safe Sitter course.

The Autism Society provides information and referrals via a toll-free phone line for autism-related questions and an on-line database with local and national resources. The Autism Society is made up of a nationwide network of chapters designed to provide information and support geographically. The Autism Society hosts an annual and several local conferences and publishes a quarterly magazine, the Autism Advocate.
